Our maps have a wide range of features which are useful and simple to use. The map features include...



Map Formats


Users are able to view different formats of maps, allwoing them to view a traditional map, which is clear and easy to read, or they can choose to view the map in 'Satellite' wich dispalys a satellite image of the area, this means users can view actual streets and Landmarks helping them find their way to your venue. Their is also an option to view the maps in 'Hybrid' mode, this allows users to view the satellite images with the street names clearly visable.




Branding


Some space is left aside where you can place your logo, the Markers can also be created allowing you to have your branding on maps.

Zooming


Or maps allow people to Zoom in and out of locations allowing them to be able to view as much or as little as they like.


Text boxes and 'Infowindows'

When the marker is clicked on a small 'speach bubble' comes up, this is called an 'Infowindow'. These Infowindows allow you to leave location specific messages from opening hours, to the best Bus routes.

Text boxes can also be created where you can display general information, links and images. This means your map can have a link to a page on your website where the user can buy tickets to your event, reserve a table at your restaurant, add themselves to your Guest list, (if you do not have a Guestlist page on your site or dont have a website atall) a link can be created that once clicked on, the user's email application will open a new message with you address and message in the 'Subject' box.




PDF Maps


Along with the online map we can also create PDF (Portable Document Format) maps of the locations immediate area, these are files wich can be dispalyed on most computers and have been optimised for prinitng.

These maps can also be viewed on a number of mobile phones and PDA's.

Multiple Locations


We can create maps containing more than one location, so if you are a band and you will be in diiferent locations on different dates you can have all of the venues that you will be playing along with the dates all on one map!

A list of the locations will be placed on the map so users can click on a date/venue and be taken to the location on the map.




Directions

Users can enter brief details (their town and postcode) and be given turn by turn directions to your venue (provided by Google).
